Surprising Our Richest Clients

We have never arrived at a tax office so overrun with loving friends and joyful smiles as the small office in Franklin’s town square last Friday as church members gathered to celebrate our two newest clients, Anna and Priscilla. What they didn’t know was that they were both getting vehicles that same day! These friends who met in a ministry years ago got to rejoice and pray over one another as OnRamp gifted them both reliable cars to carry them to work, to the churches they love, and to the ministries they support. When a friend handed a bouquet of flowers to Priscilla to celebrate her big day, she split it into two and handed half to Anna. If true wealth is measured in relationships, then we just gifted vehicles to two of the wealthiest clients we’ve ever served!

When the title transfer was complete, the whole church group gathered in the parking lot to do something we’d never seen before: they anointed both cars with oil! This centuries-old practice of consecrating something for God's service makes perfect sense. Both clients intend to use their vehicles not only to serve their own needs, but to help others. One client has a ministry she leads in a local prison, which her car makes possible. The other has already used her new car to help get others to church. These gifted vehicles are already blessing many people.

After praying over the anointed cars, without warning, the whole group turned and laid hands on our founder, Blake Jennings, and prayed over OnRamp’s future, that God would continue to bless and provide for this ministry so that more and more people can be served here and across the country. Truly, while the cars are great, the relationships and love displayed are what will last forever.
