Our Beliefs

OnRamp is a Christian non-profit and holds to the core beliefs below. However, we do not expect or enforce these beliefs for applicants, clients, advocates, or Vehicle Team volunteers. These are only necessary for our Board of Directors, Staff, and Client Care Team. In terms of the clients we serve, OnRamp does not discriminate based on religious belief or lack of belief.

• We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God.

• We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

• We believe in the deity and humanity of Christ, in His virgin birth and sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection and ascension to heaven as Head of the church

• We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus’ death and resurrection, and is accomplished through the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit.

• We believe the Holy Spirit indwells, empowers, and unites all believers into one body, with equality across racial, gender, and class differences.

• We believe in the future, bodily return of Christ to judge the living and the dead, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.
