Hard Work Pays Off in San Antonio
Kayli's daughter was watching. Every early alarm, every parenting class, every dollar set aside, she saw her mom’s hard work and sacrifice. This week, our new OnRamp San Antonio team celebrated Kayli as their 3rd local client. She met her advocate at Presbyterian Children's Homes & Services determined to build a new life for herself and her daughter. She didn't just meet the goals in front of her, she exceeded them. She saved thousands of dollars so she and her daughter could move into their own apartment. She faithfully attended parenting skills classes.
Yet one hurdle kept getting in the way: transportation. High-interest loans, unreliable cars, and repair bills drained the savings she'd worked so hard to build. In a city as spread out as San Antonio, reliable transportation isn't a luxury. It's how you get to work, keep your commitments, and stay connected to the people you love. That’s why OnRamp gifted a Honda Civic to Kayli, so she can put her energy where it belongs, in her work, in her daughter, and in her future.
At OnRamp, we share God's grace by gifting reliable vehicles to hardworking people in need, people exactly like Kayli. We're honored to partner with her on the road ahead!
We want to give a special thanks to Christian Brothers Automotive which gifted $10,000 to OnRamp San Antonio to allow us to purchase this vehicle, and City Limits Subaru who set this car aside knowing it would be a perfect fit for our program and sold it to us at a very fair price. We could not do this essential work without partners like these!
