Celebrating 250: Homes and Hope Restored

This week brings an incredible milestone: 250 local families and ministries now driving reliable vehicles gifted through OnRamp since 2017!

Our 250th recipient is Tiny Hope Village, a charity building permanent tiny homes for formerly homeless neighbors just north of Bryan. They've completed four homes and welcomed their first residents, with homes five and six currently under construction. These new homeowners face a critical challenge: without vehicles, jobs, medical appointments, and even grocery shopping remain out of reach. OnRamp raised funds to purchase, prepare, and gift a reliable Toyota Sienna to Tiny Hope Village so their residents can truly thrive in their new homes. Your partnership makes moments like this possible, connecting formerly homeless neighbors to the transportation they need.

Just days after milestone 250, we celebrated 251 with a single mom raising four boys in Navasota. Brittany left an abusive relationship to create a safe home for her sons. She works every hour she can, walking to her job most days. Her older boys serve on their church worship team, walking to reach practices. When their pastor saw this family's determination and nominated them to OnRamp, we knew we had to give Brittany a hand up.

During our interview, we noticed Brittany's savings wouldn't cover that crucial first insurance payment. We set an action step: save $400 before receiving the vehicle. Based on her limited income, we expected it to take two to three months. She and her boys rewrote their budget, saved every penny, and reached the goal in less than a month. Their determination floored us. We're honored to gift them a Honda Pilot that will supercharge the progress they've already started. Our staff came away convinced: this is an incredible mom who always puts her sons first. Now she has the reliable transportation to love and care for them even better.
