Intern with OnRamp

Want to get invaluable experience volunteering with our nonprofit? We’ll give you significant responsibilities, regular access to our top leadership, and opportunities to observe and engage with our board of directors and client care committee. You will get to see from the inside what it takes to lead and manage a nonprofit organization. We have three primary intern opportunities, as described in the following job descriptions. Note that these internships are unpaid.

Internship Positions

  • Responsibilities:

    • Connect OnRamp staff and leadership to various campus organizations, churches, and local businesses to facilitate speaking and participation opportunities.

    • Publicize OnRamp events, stories, and needs online and on campus.

    • Plan and execute one fundraising event for OnRamp - on campus or in the community.

    • Meet twice a month with OnRamp Operations Director for planning and project updates (availability Wednesdays and Thursdays 8:30am - 3:00pm).

  • Responsibilities:
    · Attend CCT meetings (second Monday of the month, 7pm zoom)
    · Meet with Care Director twice a month for planning and project updates (availability on Tuesday mornings 10am-12pm, or afternoons on Wednesday/Thursday)
    · Assist the Care Director in Client Development, helping to create effective care plans, resource guides, etc.
    · Assist the Care Director in collecting data and reporting to appropriate teams
    · Assist with occasional in-person CCT or Client events (with plenty of notice!) 

  • Responsibilities:

    • Brainstorm and contribute creative ideas for future marketing campaigns

    • Meet weekly with the Marketing Director for a 1-hour in-person meeting (Availability midday Tuesday-Thursday)

    Potential responsibilities based on skill and interest:

    • Assist in the design, scheduling, and management of content across social media platforms

    • Conduct research on marketing campaigns and analytics to optimize performance and effectiveness

    • Support event planning and coordination for organizational events

    • Write and edit blog posts that align with our brand voice and messaging

    • Contribute to website design and updates (basic knowledge preferred but not required)

    • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels and materials

    • Research opportunities for community and church partnerships
